Did god make the meteors?

We’ve all heard of religious spokespeople blaming natural disasters here on Earth on the ghey secks or some folks not believing in their imaginary deity fervently enough. But I’m not sure what the official theological positions are with regards to disasters from outer space, like the recent meteor explosion over Russia that injured 1000 people.

What do we have to believe here? If god made everything in the universe, then he made the meteors as well, or at least didn’t bother to clean up after the creation, which makes him at best sloppy, and at worst incompetent. Which one is it, theologians?

Or maybe he is just bored of the same old earthquakes, tornadoes and plane crashes.
Or maybe no gods exist, and meteor strikes are a real problem for those who believe that a Hulk in the sky made the world and everything in it.
