Our friend from Catch the Fire Ministries, Daniel Nalliah the Sri Lankan anti-muliculturalism fearmongerer, the guy who leads the moronic Rise Up Australia Party, has come up with another pressing matter that we may ignore at our peril : The foreigner’s kids are outstudying our own Aussie offspring !
If you expect me to quote any evidence Pastor Danny may have put forward for this preposterous and xenophobic claim, sorry to disappoint. All we get from Nalliah to support his wacky theory is his own empty assertions, as usual :
I praise God for the Multi-Ethnic society we are and thank Him for Australia opening the doors for all nations to come in and have a fare go, but the fact is that this is a serious issue we need to address. Are Aussie kids studying hard enough??
I used to work in the Middle East where it is very well known that these countries are run by overseas workers. If the overseas workers leave all at once, the Middle East will come to a grinding halt, as it is the foreign workers who keep the Middle East running. The locals who are generally born into wealth (oil money) are very complacent and don’t want to study hard or work at all.
Over the last few days as I was praying about this, I felt very strongly that there could be a specific curse over Australia in reference to this issue that needs to be broken. I suppose this might also be relevant to many other nations. This week at our weekly prayer meeting we spent much time repenting and breaking this curse. Let me share it with you what the Lord showed me.

Learning, and subsequently success in study efforts, is strongly linked to socio-economic status, as shown for example here. There is no indication that immigrant children are outcompeting those who are already here. Pastor Nalliah is a xenophobe who has no idea what he is talking about. That man wouldn’t recognize a piece of evidence if it bit him in the bum. The likes of Danny Nalliah are all about spreading lies and poison, they are not interested in truth.
If find it mind-blowing that a Sri-Lankan, who is only here because of multi-culturalism, can be such a xenophobe against immigrants *just like him*
If someone says “the voices are talking to me” then they’re considered a strong candidate for a psychiatric consult. If they say “God talks to me” then they stick a title like Rev. or Pastor before their name and run a cult.
As an American, I always thought that Australia was a pretty secular country, so I’m surprised that Nalliah has formed his own political party, which could actually win seats. Would hope that he would be laughed out of the political arena and not be taken seriously by voters.
