Rachel Maddow takes on the urban legend of Romney VP pick Paul Ryan being a “fiscal conservative”. Turns out that not only is the guy a super-hardcore anti-choicer who has sponsored the national compulsory vaginal ultrasound and personhood for eggs bills in the US, but he is also a Randroid.
Romneybot and Randroid Ryan for President! It’s like an episode of Futurama. Just that it’s not funny.

    I just put the following comment on the “someopinionsmatter blog”. It’s pending moderation.

    Guess again.

    If taxes are cut but spending isn’t, or if spending is only cut a small percentage of the tax cuts, then the tax cuts have to be paid for. Ryan and Romney intend to cut various social programs, but not $4.7 trillion. They are proposing to cut taxes by $4.7 trillion. Those tax cuts have to be paid for.

    Damn, I’d think even a conservative would be able to figure that out. Obviously you can’t.
