Ratzi the naked Catholic emperor has spoken out against IVF :
Speaking after a three-day Vatican conference on diagnosing and treating infertility, He also reiterated church teaching that marriage is the only place to conceive children.
Matrimony “constitutes the only place worthy of the call to existence of a new human being,” he said.
The Pope pressed the church ban against artificial procreation, saying couples should refrain from any method for conceiving other than sex between husband and wife.
“The human and Christian dignity of procreation, in fact, doesn’t consist in a `product’ but in its link to the conjugal act, an expression of the love of the spouses of their union, not only biological but also spiritual,” the Pope said.
I’m not certain why anyone would want to take the advice of this old fool in the very personal matter of deciding to choose IVF as a means to have a family, a guy who gets his “authority” on this matter from 3000 year old stories from the Middle Eastern desert.
Ratzinger has become so senile that he actually argues that for humans the only legitimate way to have babies is to fuck while married, and that any other way is somehow “arrogant”.
And yet this guy is the leader of a cult that has as one of its central tenets the doctrine that its main man Jebus was poofed into existence in Mary’s womb without any fucking being done at all, let alone while married. Loving families decide to use IVF to have a family, when they can not achieve this through sexual intercourse alone, it’s not so much a lifestyle choice but a medical necessity. These families use science to help them have a family, rather than wait for the Holy Spirit to show up.
Is “poofed” the correct word to use here? Those inflicted with religion definately don’t like “poofs”.
So sex is “not only biological but also spiritual”? Chris Hall would beg to differ.
Just goes to show how the word ‘spiritual’ gives some people license to make up stuff about reality that accords with their own irrational biases.
Every statement he makes digs the irrelevant hole he resides in a little deeper.

Irrelevant indeed, even Catholics, who still feel the need to revere the vile man, disagree with him on practically everything and pretty much ignore everything he says.
