I’ll repeat that for you, the Mayor of Melbourne attended the opening of a place that aims to spread lies, superstition and ignorance, and that lures people into its cult by brainwashing them and taking all their money in the process. His excuse, once he realised he had fucked up ?
The Premier’s position put him at odds with lord mayor Robert Doyle, who claimed to attend as a friend of singer Kate Ceberano. ”People shouldn’t draw any commentary from my attendance other than that this was a personal invitation from a friend,” Cr Doyle said.
Is he dumb or something, and if he is not, what is really going on here ? An invitation from a friend, who is a known member of Scientology, to the opening of a Scientology dependance in Australia, and he doesn’t see that there might be a conflict with his position here ? I think questions have to be asked here whether Mr Doyle in any way involved with Scientology. I heard on the radio that he might have gone because he likes to be around celebrities, but that’s a very naive, and rather charitable interpretation of events. He did after all give a speech there. I’d like to know how that new centre got building approval. Was Cr Doyle involved ?
