The Rise Up Australia Party’s urgent call for action with regards to the ongoing flooding

Our good friends from Catch The Fire Ministries, whose main man, pastor Daniel Nalliah the Sri Lankan anti-multiculturalist also conveniently leads the Rise Up Australia political party, are calling for urgent help for the flood-affected areas across the country, and in particular for Queensland. Because, you see, pastor Danny just saw on TV that it’s meant to be really bad there right now. And they are mobilising money and aid for flooded regions as we speak :

Dear family and friends in Christ,

I have just returned from Queensland and I have been following the news very closely while I was in the aircraft.

I’m sure you all are aware that many communities in Victoria, Queensland and NSW have been facing major flooding. Can we all take some time to pray for these dear people, (who are currently going through a very hard time) for Gods protection and peace.

Also please pray that the flood levels will ease and that there will be no more homes in danger.

Oh, wait.
You know, what I really don’t get is how people can be so deluded to buy this guy’s nonsense. Praying for god to ease the flood levels ? Listen, Christians, isn’t that the same dude who according to you can do anything and everything, such as for example not allowing floods and hence flood levels to happen in the first place ? How do the Christians who listen to pastor Danny and his CTFM club tie their shoelaces ?

  2. For some reason, when I type in RISE UP AUSTRALIA PARTY, lately, this post gets periodic listing near the top. Since I made a flood related comment at CTFM (under a different post than the flood post quoted above) what ho, here we go. I cannot tell you whether anything to do with the events mentioned in this comment (see below) are supernatural, neither am I really interested. I am slightly intrigued to understand why GOOGLE is picking this particular post. The questions regarding providence and destiny asked in the post above could be answered by an infant yet incapable of tying shoelaces. The methods used by GOOGLE are of some interest.

A little more than a year ago, I sat and watched the major tributary of the river that flows through Rockhampton, Qld, rise to unprecedented height. In fact, this tributary covered part of my property. The second major tributary was also at an all time record and the third was in moderate flood – with the peaks timed to give maximum flooding in that city. Someone might correct me if I am wrong here. We had never seen anything like it.
As far as I know, the flooding in that city all but did not happen. Someone put it down to a sandbar (more likely a mudbank) being washed out of the delta. There was no logical explanation that I heard – although such an explanation may exist. I did read that someone from Rockhampton had contacted CTFM immediately before the flood didn’t happen.
